Julie mangoes can be called as the Alphonso from Jamaica.The taste is some what on lines of Alphonso and Rasalu from India. If you are missing Alphonso for last few years this is the mango which will ensure you get same taste. Julie Jamaican Mangoes are small, averaging less than a pound in weight at maturity. Skin color is green with some crimson blush. The fruit has a somewhat unusual shape that is ovate with a distinctive flattened side. The flesh is juicy and not fibrous, with a deep orange color and a very rich flavor. They are similar to Rasalu and Alphonso combination from India . The 10 LBs box comes with 14 mangoes of medium size. Please note we cant ship these mangoes outside DC area as they come almost ripe to us. Please avoid ordering if you are outside DC area.
